公式：回潮率=（濕重—干重）/干重×100%

國家公定回潮率：面紗8.5%、棉布8%、滌棉3.06%、布匹4.2%。
The national standard moisture regain rate is 8.5% for veils, 8% for cotton fabrics, 3.06% for polyester cotton, and 4.2% for fabrics.
紗的細度辨別：S前面的數字越大表示紗越細，所織成的面料就越輕、越薄、越柔軟。數字越小就表示紗越粗，所織成的面料就越重、越厚、越粗糙。例如：床上用品紗支，根據其粗細一般分為21支、30支、40支、60S、80S等，另外還有比較罕見的100支。

一般被套、床單、保護墊、床裙、床尾墊等都分大、中、小等規格。例如被套的尺寸在放進被子以后能夠遮擋住床墊及部分床架。床墊和床架之間有一條縫隙，被子如果擋不住縫隙，就影響床的視覺效果。所以在訂布草的尺寸時，床單一般要比床長寬各多出80公分。
